Its one of my favorites that I've made. The wool took many layers to create the course fluffy look and also colors to make it look ethereal because this is the Lamb of God. Add a touch of divine light to your decor.

Divine Right
I painted "Divine Right" — oil on a 12x12x1.5 canvas with hand-applied gold leaf edges. It presents an Icelandic sheep crowned in quiet dignity, accompanied by Bleeding Heart flowers that refer to Christ’s sacrifice. The soft, whimsical palette leans toward a storybook dusk as we move into the Ember Months. Painting the wool on this one took so many layers of paint I never thought I'd get the right texture and effect. I think I had to paint as many layers as there are layers of wool on the real sheep!
